My Ethics, Boundaries, and Taboos as a Tarot Reader
Consent Is Sacred
Consent is central to my tarot and spiritual practice. I will never force a person—or non-human person—to act against their will. Clear boundary-setting, including evicting an incalcitrant spirit that violates your consent, is not coercion; it is self-protection.
Because of this ethical stance, I do not assist with reconciliation spells, twin flame work, or soulmate searches. These frameworks, as they are commonly practiced, often encourage obsession, entitlement, and boundary violations. I choose not to participate in approaches that cause harm.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your privacy is sacred. If I believe your situation would benefit from consulting a colleague or specialist, I will tell you first and obtain your verbal consent. I do not investigate third parties unless their actions directly affect you and your well-being.
Your Beliefs Come First
Spiritual frameworks only work if they work for you. My tarot readings and recommendations are adapted to your belief system, religion, or spiritual practice—not imposed over it.
Grounded, Place-Based Spirituality
When possible, I follow scientific understanding and the indigenous lead in honoring our ecology. Indigenous traditions are not a monolith; geography, culture, and history matter. Nature and the divine are not in conflict—human confusion often arises when we lose grounding and context.
Cultural Awareness and Lived Experience
I am not racially blind. Your lived experiences, risks, and privileges may differ from mine. If sharing context will help me better support you, I welcome it. That time will be credited back to you, either as extended session time or a discount.
Harm Reduction, Not Moralizing
I practice harm reduction and destigmatization rather than abstinence-only approaches. My goal is practical safety, sustainability, and agency—not moral judgment.
Radical Non-Judgment
I meet you where you are. You do not need to justify your feelings, beliefs, or circumstances to receive support.
Shared Responsibility
I cannot do the work for you. Tarot and spiritual consultation are collaborative. If you are a practitioner, meaningful benefit requires basic grounding, centering, warding, and drama-reduction practices.
Empowerment Is the Goal
My aim is to work myself out of a job. Every session is designed to help you leave with tools, clarity, and confidence—so you can meet whatever comes next without dependency.
